During a ‘Live Prize Draw, we use a random number generator that records all tickets as well as the winning ticket number. To ensure a completely random draw, we enter the ticket numbers from 1 to the maximum number of available tickets.
Should you enter an ‘Auto Draw’, we follow the same rules and principles as a ‘Live Draw’, however the draw will be conducted automatically and will not be shown live on Facebook or other social media platforms.
You can tune into the ‘Live Facebook Draw’ where we randomly pick winners live. If you are a winner and miss the live draw, we will contact you via email or telephone within 72 hours of the draw to let you know you have won.
If you have entered and won an ‘Auto Draw’, we will contact you via telephone or email within 72 hours of the draw to let you know you have won.
If you win an ‘Instant Win’ prize or cash, you will know immediately.
Yes. There is no limit to the number of competitions a player can enter or win, and every ticket you buy gives you the same chance to win as anyone else in the competition. Some people might get frustrated when someone wins more than one competition, however as we select all winners via a random number generator, all players have the same chance of winning a competition.
Throughout the year, Captain Competition offers free competitions where we give our players the chance to win prizes without the need to purchase tickets. To enter a free competition, you must first register an account and then you may enter the maximum number of tickets for a specific free competition, and you may enter as many of our free competitions as you wish.
Alternatively, every competition offers the opportunity to enter for free via our ‘Free Entry Method’. To enter any competition for free, players must first register an account and then submit a postal entry to Captain Competition at 5th Floor, 167–169 Great Portland Street, London, W1W5PF, England. Regardless if a draw sells a handful of tickets or if the competition sells out prior to the draw date, every competition offered by Captain Competition is guaranteed to be drawn on the date displayed on the individual competition page.
Instant win prizes are generally allocated during the lead up to a competition draw, and as we use a random algorithm to allocate instant win prizes, in some circumstances, all instant win prizes maybe won prior the competition draw date.
Yes. Once you have purchased a ticket you will receive a confirmation email that includes your ticket numbers. If you have not received this, don’t forget to check your junk folder.
After you complete a purchase, you will then receive an email confirming your order and ticket numbers. Alternatively, ticket numbers are also displayed within ‘My Account’ under the ‘Tickets’ tab.
Additionally, you can also view the public entry lists for each competition to see yours and other players numbers for any competition. Public entry list are displayed on all individual competition pages.
Prizes are generally delivered within 7-14 days of a competition being drawn. In some cases, prizes might be hand-delivered by a representative of Captain Competition.
Winners of gift cards, vouchers and other digitally transported prizes will be delivered via email or text within 24-72 hours.
As all prize deliveries are free of charge, winners will not be charged for delivery.
Once you have submitted a withdrawal request, it generally takes between 24-72 hours for your withdrawal to show in your bank account. Depending upon your banking provider, this timeframe could be faster or a little longer.
Players who win instant cash prizes, will generally have their wallets updated instantly.
Instant Win prizes offer our players the chance to win cash and prizes instantly, whilst giving our players more chances to win with a single ticket.

A Cash Alternative offers our players an opportunity to choose between receiving the winning prize or the stated cash amount as a single one-off payment. If a cash alternative is being offered for a specific competition, the cash alternative amount will be displayed within the competition description.
If you are a winner of a main competition prize which offers a cash alternative, you will be asked by our team if you prefer to receive the prize or the cash alternative at the time for which you are contacted.
The minimum amount you can withdraw from your wallet is £25. This could be an instant cash win, site credit or a combination of instant cash wins and site credits.
Firstly, select a competition and the number of tickets you wish to purchase. Then add your tickets to your cart and when you arrive at the checkout, you will see an area that reads ‘Click here to enter your coupon code’. Once you correctly enter your coupon code, your discount will be automatically awarded.
No. We use Facebook as a platform to stream our live draws, and you do not need Facebook or any other social media account to enter a competition.

If you are the winner of any prize, cash or opt for a cash alternative payment to the value of £1,000 or above, you are required to provide proof of identity prior to any prize or cash being delivered or paid.
If you win £1,000 or above, you will be contacted via email to request that identification is provided. Accepted forms of identification are a UK government issued drivers licence, passport or national identification card only.
All requested information and forms of identification must be received within 14 days of request.
